Mechel PAO has reported it has launched opencast mining at Dzhebariki-Khaya pit in Yakutia.

Production has increased from Project F at the company’s Amaam coal project.

SUEK will invest over RUB 250m (approximately US$4 million) in environmental programmes in Krasnoyarsk in 2017.

Two Russian longwall mines recently surpassed the national monthly coal production record.

First  coal  has  been  mined  and  trucked from Tigers  Realm  Coal’s Project F to the coal stockpiles at the Beringovsky Port in Russia.
