New equipment arrives at Solntsevsky coal mine

Two excavators, Hitachi EX-3600 and Hitachi EX-1200, as well as a Liebherr PR-754 bulldozer, have been added to the mining fleet of the Solntsevsky coal mine, a key mining asset of the Eastern Mining Co. The special equipment was delivered to the enterprise as part of an investment programme to modernise production and gradually increase productivity.
“Choosing modern models of mining equipment, we pay special attention not only to its technical characteristics, but also to our experience in maintenance and repair. The key task of the entire technical park of the enterprise is to work efficiently with a minimum amount of downtime and safely. We are confident that the new equipment will successfully cope with this,” said Alexey Sharabarin, Director of the Solntsevsky coal mine.
Hydraulic excavator ??3600 has a gross operating weight of 353 t and is equipped with a bucket with a volume of 22 m3 and a 1200 kW electric motor. It allows for shipping of approximately 650 000 m3 of breed monthly. The EX1200 mining excavator, with an operating weight of 115 t, is equipped with a 770 hp engine. Its bucket volume with a backhoe mechanism is 7m3. The machine is capable of loading 170 000 m3 of rock mass monthly. The Liebherr PR-754 bulldozer is equipped with a powerful engine of 340 hp, so that this technique can be used not only for planning work, but also for loosening the soil to a depth of 0.5 m.
