Contango Holdings Plc has confirmed that the installation of the weighbridge at the Muchesu Coal Project has been completed and is now fully operational.

The completion of the installation of the weighbridge enables trucks to collect coal from Muchesu and meets the necessary standards for the sale and transportation of bulk commodities in Zimbabwe and beyond, as well as confirming the tonnages and subsequent sales totals.

Production is ongoing and a sizeable stockpile has been built. The company expects to announce first sales and receive first revenues this month from TransOre International FZE, as previously announced.
