Resources account for about 80% of Queensland’s exports and over the last two years the sector has benefitted from elevated prices and a strong tailwind from larger volumes.
Through the sale of Rio Tinto assets, the Queensland coal industry will continue to generate the jobs and export revenue that keeps the state strong.
