ACCCE welcomes Trump's pick for top job at EPA

The American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity (ACCCE) has welcomed Donald Trump’s nomination of Scott Pruitt to lead the UE Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
“We are pleased with President-elect Donald Trump’s nomination of Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt for EPA Administrator,” said Paul Bailey, the ACCCE’s Senior Vice President for Policy in a statement.
“Pruitt will be a strong advocated for sensible policies that are good to our environment, as well as mindful of the need for affordable and reliable electricity,” added Bailey.
As Oklahoma Attorney General, Pruitt has been a vocal critic of the EPA and ally of the energy sector in the oil and gas intensive state.
