Wesfarmers: 3Q results

Wesfarmers Ltd has released the company’s 3Q results, detailing a coal production of 2 615 000 t at Curragh (an 11% decrease compared to the previous quarter). Metallurgical coal production totaled 1 647 000 t (23% decrease compared to the previous quarter) and steaming coal production was 17.2% higher than the previous quarter at 968 000 t.
At Bengalla, Wesfarmers’ share of coal production for the quarter was 812 000 t, and for the 12 months ending 30 September, the company’s share of coal production increased by 3% to 3 382 000 t.
The company also announced that there was no significant development or exploration activity during 3Q16.
