SUEK-Kuzbass’s Kotinskaya mine located in the Prokopjevsker district / Kemerovo area in Russia achieved a new world record of 1.4 million tpm with its Eickhoff SL 900 shearer loader.
The record was achieved through a combination of the highly skilled and motivated Kotinskaya staff and Eickhoff´s powerful yellow giant SL 900.
This emphasises the mine’s constant success as current mine data looks promising for more record breaking news to follow soon.
Since its foundation in 1864, Eickhoff has specialised in underground coal mining equipment. Today, Eickhoff is a successful German-based global supplier of longwall shearers and continuous miners, providing the worldwide coal community with more than 50 machines every year.
