Rulmeca celebrates 50 years
Rulmeca, a manufacturer of rollers for belt conveyors, will celebrate 50 years of activity in 2012. Since 1962, the company has grown from its Italian base and there are now 22 Rulmeca companies around the world with 1100 emplyees and a turnover of E 150 million.
The company began by producing rollers for medium and heavy-duty conveyors for the quarry and mining industries. In the 1970s, it diversified its product offering, which now includes rollers, motorised pulleys and components for belt conveyors in bulk handling applications.
