Executive changes for BHP Billiton

CEO of BHP Billiton, Andrew Mackenzie, has announced changes to the company’sGroup Management Committee (GMC).
Dean Dalla Valle will become Chief Commercial Officer, assuming accountability for the company’s potash operations. Valle will also stay as President Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), Marketing, Supply and Information Technology. He will assume responsibility for Potash from 1 August 2015.
According to BHP, the changes enable the BHP BIllition President Petroleum, Tim Cutt, to work exclusively on expanding the value of the Petroleum Business. As of 1 July 2015, Cutt’s title will change to President, Petroleum.
“These portfolio changes recognise the depth of skill and ongoing contribution of both Dean and Tim to BHP Billiton,” Mackenzie said.
Also from the 1 July 2015, Athalie Williams, whose current title is President, Human Resources will take on the title of Chief People Officer and Tony Cudmore, whose current title is President, Corporate Affairs, will take on the title of Chief Public Affairs Officer.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our GMC members for their ongoing leadership and contribution to BHP Billiton,” Mackenzie concluded.
