Yancoal has released its coal reserves statement for the FY2016. The tabulated information is presented by project.

The company’s group total year end 31 December position is as outline below:
- Measured, indicated and inferred coal resources are 2879 Mt.
- Recoverable proved and probable coal reserves are 555 Mt.
- Marketable proved and probable coal reserves are 402 Mt.
