World Coal,
On 20 June 2021, the Coal Sea Port Shakhtersk, a key logistics asset of the Eastern Mining Company, shipped a record daily volume of coal in the company's history. For the first time, the figure for loading exceeded 100 000 t. Usually the daily volume is 80 – 90 000 t.
Coal was loaded onto bulk carriers ‘PEACE ARK’ and ‘Xin Meng Xiang’ for further delivery to China. The shipping record became possible thanks to the well-coordinated and professional work of the personnel, the introduction of new capacities and the expansion of the fleet. Recall that at the end of May this year, the fleet was replenished with two self-propelled barges with a total of 15 000 DWT, which also influenced the increase in the port's capacity to 14 million tpy.
Since the beginning of 2021, 48 vessels have been handled in the Coal Sea Port Shakhtersk.
