Wonbindi Coal awards Golding Contractors contract

NRW Holdings Ltd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Golding Contractors Pty Ltd, has executed a 5.5 year mining services agreement with Wonbindi Coal Pty Ltd at the Baralaba North Mine.
The award is valued at approximately AUS$800 million and continues the strong relationship between Golding and Wonbindi where Golding has provided the contract mining services at the Baralaba North Mine over the last four years.
The scope of work remains the same and includes maintaining and operating a client owned fleet of equipment, producing an Ultra-Low Volatile PCI product. The mining services agreement commences on the 1 July 2022.
NRW CEO & Managing Director, Jules Pemberton, said: “This contract award further demonstrates the strength of client relationships that the Golding business has worked hard to develop and maintain. They also further underline the capability added to the NRW group following the acquisition of Golding five years ago.”
