Shakhtyorsk coal port achieves new production record

The coal port of Shakhtyorsk, Russia, has achieved a new production record.
By the end of June, the Eastern Mining Co.'s port workers shipped a record 1.1 million t of coal.
This is the second consecutive excess of targets for the shipment of coal since the beginning of the year. In May, the company reported shipping 1 million t, exceeding the planned 880 000 t.
