Hugh Swire joins Tlou Energy Board

Tlou Energy Ltd, the AIM and ASX listed company focused on delivering power in Botswana and southern Africa through the development of coal bed methane (CBM), has confirmed that Mr Hugh Swire has been appointed to the Board as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.
Tlou's Managing Director, Tony Gilby, said: "Hugh is a great addition to our team and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Board. Hugh is based in London and is very well known in the investment community. He is a long term Tlou shareholder having held shares since 2009 and has an in-depth knowledge of the Company. We very much look forward to his contribution to the Board.”
Hugh William Swire is a partner in Mahon China, an established investment management and advisory partnership based in Beijing. Active in China since 1985, Mahon China have over three decades of experience advising foreign companies with investments and corporate activities in the country.
Hugh’s experience comprises the low carbon water, energy and technology sectors, having completed and exited investments into several leading companies in the low carbon sector. He graduated from Oxford University with a BA (Hons) in Chinese.
