Eriez® offers expert repairs for coal industry equipment
Coal industry professionals rely on Eriez® 5-Star Service® to maintain optimum equipment performance and reduce lost profits caused by machine downtime. The 5-Star team uses original Eriez parts, components and assemblies for all repair work and provides ‘as new’ warranties on all rebuilt equipment.
Wet drums and suspended electromagnets are the two pieces of coal industry equipment most frequently repaired or rebuilt by Eriez 5-Star Service, according to Derek Novotny, Eriez Manager—Coal Processing.
Typical 5-Star Service projects include:
- Wet Drum Separators: Inspect all magnetic elements; repair or replace magnets and tanks; install new steel canisters and components if needed.
- Suspended Electromagnets: Inspect box, core and tanks; replace coils, electronics, rectifiers, motors and other components if necessary.
The large 5-Star Service Center is located within the company’s facility in Erie, Pennsylvania, and the staff members are trained to handle repairs of coal industry equipment. The 5-Star team also provides on-site field service. Whether equipment is repaired in-site or at the 5-Star Service Center, all of the same benefits and warranties apply.
Dave Hansen, Manager – Service and Repairs, commented: “A qualified Eriez engineer or technician is within hours of you to ensure your equipment and systems stay online.”
