Jameson coal quality progress

Jameson Resources has released an updated report on exploration results for the North Block of the company’s Crown Mountain Coking Coal Project in British Columbia, which indicates better overall quality than previously reported.

Many of the recent tests have confirmed what had already been assumed for Crown Mountain. However, free swelling index (FSI) is significantly higher than expected from initial laboratory testing. FBI was previously reported as 6.1, based on weighted averages of individual seam piles, however independent results from two different labs reveal that the FSI of the blended product is 7.5.

The higher FSI presents the opportunity to wash the coal to a higher ash product (up to 9.5% is typical), and/or blend the North Block product with coal from other areas of the Crown Mountain project.

In other news, Jameson Resources will be exhibiting at the Mines & Money conference in London, between 2^nd and 4^th December. The company will be presenting to over 20 industrial and individual investors in sessions during the week.
