Kentz wins Moatize coal contract
Kentz Corporation Limited has been awarded the Phase 2 contract for Vale’s Moatize Coal Mining Project in Tete, Mozambique. The project is one of the largest coal mining operations on the African continent.
Coal processing plant
In 2009, Kentz was awarded Phase 1 of the Moatize Coal Processing Plant, which became the company's flagship project in Africa, where significant infrastructure developments were made to develop the production of coal products in Mozambique.
Kentz's Construction Business Unit will be responsible for providing all structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and piping (SMEIP) construction services associated with the coal processing and handling plant, crusher, stackers, reclaimers and conveyors.
