Liebherr-Verzahntechnik GmbH in Kempten with its gear measuring subsidiary in Malsch, near Karlsruhe, and metrotek GmbH in Karlsruhe continue to work together on the development of specialised software for the measuring of gears, gear cutting tools, bevel gears and rotationally symmetrical parts (shafts).
With this collaboration, the further development of the evaluation and control software will be consistently advanced in the long term. Furthermore, there will be a focus on the development of the automation and use of the software in connection with Liebherr gear cutting machines.
The metrotek software has been established in the gear measuring market for over 30 years. It is characterised by the intuitive user interface and the flexible applications for diverse measuring tasks.
The portfolio already includes a GDE interface for the exchange of geometry and measuring data for the automated correction of the settings on gear cutting machines, which is compatible with machines from all manufacturers.
