Eickhoff shearers master underground mining
An additional four Eickhoff shearer loaders are mastering the challenging mining conditions of underground coal fields in China.
Huainan Mining Group, which mines a significant amount of coal from the underground coal fields of southern China, uses 35 Eickhoff SL 300 and SL 750 shearer loaders daily. The first Eickhoff SL type shearer loader was acquired by Huainan in 2004.
Throughout the most recent quarter of this year, Germany based mining equipment supplier Eickhoff Bergbautechnik delivered a further four shearer loaders, two of each type (SL 300 and SL 750), increasing Huainan’s machine total to 39 Eickhoff shearers.
