Management changes at CSX

US transportation company, CSX, has announced a number of management changes following the departure of Oscar Munoz, who has been named President and CEO of airline, United Continental. Munoz had been President and Chief Operating Officer at CSX.
Clarence Gooden will take up the role of President of CSX, overseeing both operations and sales and marketing. His previous position as Executive Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer will be taken by Fredrik Eliasson, who was previously Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Frank Lonegro will assume the role vacated by Eliasson, while Cindy Sanborn will take up the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of CSX Transportation Inc.
Fredrik Eliasson has appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer from his previous position as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
