Bretby Gammatech won the Excellence in International Business award and reached the finals for the Excellence in Innovation award at the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Awards 2015.

The event was held at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham and hosted by Emma Jesson from ITV Central. Greg Lowson, President of the Birmingham Chamber, presented Bretby Gammatech’s General Manager, Gary Wain, with the award.

Bretby Gammatech was acknowledged for being a ‘passionate enterprise’ that successfully generates 95% of its business from challenging international markets.

Gary Wain, General Manager of Bretby Gammatech, said: “We are absolutely delighted with our award win, which is a double celebration as we secured it in the same week as our parent company, President Engineering Group Ltd, won the Queen’s Award for International Trade 2015. These recent award wins firmly put us on the map as a leading manufacturer of equipment for the global energy markets.”

Gary added: “It is fantastic that the judges recognised how passionate we are about our business and we believe this is one of the reasons for our success on an international scale.”

President Engineering Group Ltd (PEGL) was the only firm in the UK to achieve the Queen’s Award for International Trade. The company was recognised due to outstanding overseas sales growth in the last three years.
