LOESCHE gains custom in India

LOESCHE sells 32 coal coal mills to to Indian power company, Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd (UPRVUNL), which are to be used in its Super Thermal Power Station in Jawaharpur and Obra-C in Uttar Pradesh state, North India.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Arch Coal amends credit agreement

Arch Coal has completed a credit agreement amendment for the reduction of interest rates on its senior secured term loan facility.

 

Lloyd’s new coal divestment policy now in effect

Lloyd’s will adopt divestment criteria recommended by Unfriend Coal for the Central Fund. It will divest from companies that generate at least 30% of their revenue or electricity from coal, produce at least 20 million tpy of coal or operate at least 10 GW of coal-fired power stations.
