LOESCHE to supply roller mills for coal grinding at Nepalese cement plant

LOESCHE has gained a new customer in Nepal: the cement division of the Chaudhary Group based in Kathmandu.

The subsidiary of the conglomerate placed an order for a vertical roller mill for coal grinding for its cement plant in the Palpa region. The mill has a capacity of 25 tph.

Loesche has also received an order for coal grinding unit through KHD in the new clinkerisation plant of Chaudhary Group with KHD being the lead bidder. Loesche Coal Mill, LM 26.3 D, will be in operation by the year 2018 with a throughput of 50 tph, 15% R on 90 μm.

 

The plant has been designed to produce 3900 tpd of clinker (OPC basis). The limestone required for this will be extracted from a nearby mine.
