Peabody has promoted Patrick Forkin to Senior Vice President – Corporate Development reporting to Executive Vice President – Corporate Services and Chief Commercial Officer Charles Meintjes.
Forkin is responsible for leading business development strategies covering the full spectrum, from mergers and acquisitions to portfolio optimisation.
Forkin has 30 years of combined experience in global analytics and corporate development, previously serving as Vice President – Strategy and Global Energy Analytics. He joined Peabody in 2010 and has held several senior strategic planning and analytics roles.
Peabody is the world's largest private-sector coal company. The company is also a leading voice in advocating for sustainable mining, energy access and clean coal technologies.
