World Coal,
The World Coal Association (WCA) is holding a series of roundtables throughout 2018 to explore coal and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This series of roundtables will bring together participants with different perspectives, covering a number of geographic regions and addressing the entire lifecycle of coal, from mining through to its use. WCA, in consultation with stakeholders and informed by their feedback and recommendations, will be working to explore the impacts, implications and expectations around coal and the SDGs.
The kick-off roundtable took place in London (UK) on 26 March, where it brought together a range of stakeholders for a high level discussion on coal and the SDGs. The summary note of this first roundtable is now available.
