Brayton Point power plant liquidation event to take place in September

Brayton Point LLC, an affiliate of Environmental Liability Transfer, Inc., as announced a 3 day auction (onsite and online) featuring surplus equipment and machinery from the former Brayton Point coal-fired power plant in Somerset, Massachusetts (USA). The liquidation event will take place from 18 September through 20 September.
Once the largest fossil-fuelled power plant in New England, the Brayton Point auction will feature over 2000 lots of surplus equipment and machinery, including air compressors, cooling tower components, electric motors, transformers, plant support equipment, pumps, rolling stock, stainless steel tanks, switch gear, turbine generators, valves, and more.
The onsite auction will take place at the Brayton Point power plant located at 1 Brayton Point Road in Somerset. The auction will begin at 10 am Eastern Time, and conclude at the end of the day.
Onsite inspection of the available lots will take place on 14 September and 17 September from 8 am – 3 pm EST.
