The World Coal Association (WCA) is holding a one day conference in Tokyo (Japan) on the theme ‘Cleaner Coal: a sustainable choice for powering Asia’.
Organised with the support of WCA Associate Member JCOAL, the conference, being held this week, will explore the role that cleaner coal technologies can play in a low emission future.
The discussions will gather a broad range of experts and policymakers from different countries, organisations, governments and companies.
The World Coal Association is the only body that represents the coal industry at the global level, incorporating many of the world’s largest coal producing and allied companies, alongside national associations. Representing our network of members globally through advocacy, research and events, our mission is to demonstrate and gain acceptance for the fundamental role coal plays in achieving a sustainable and low emission energy future.
