Tigers Realm Coal releases winter drilling results

World Coal,

Tigers Realm Coal’s winter drilling has substantially increased coal strike at the Project F strike extent at Amaam North, Russia, from 3 km to 11.6 km.

This drilling program has also returned the thickest coal intersections to date, of up to 21.4 m.

New coal seams

The 6000 m drilling program has also intersected new coal seams to the east of Project F above the project’s seam package, and made a new coal discovery north of Project F. The new coal seams have been identified over a strike length of 2.2 km.

The program has also confirmed Area 2 as hosting approximately 8.3 m of cumulative coal.

Exploration drilling program

Ongoing programs at Project F comprise detailed engineering covering line of oxidation, waste dump and infrastructure sterilisation, geotechnical and hydrogeological studies. Most of the exploration drilling at Project F is now complete.

At Amaam, approximately 3000 m of the current drilling program remains to be completed and is primarily aimed at the conversion of Inferred Resources to Indicated and Measured Resources ahead of Bankable Feasibility Studies, and further licence conversions.

Amaam coking coal project

Tigers Realm Coal owns 80% of the Amaam coking coal project, located in the Chukotka Province in eastern Russia.
