SUEK produces 78.9 million t of coal so far in 2016

SUEK has announced that it produced 78.9 million t of coal during the January to September 2016 period, which represents a 15% increase over the corresponding period of 2015.
Sales for the first nine months of 2016 increased by 5% year-on-year and amounted to 74.1 million tonnes of coal.
Domestic coal sales remained the same as last year. 36.1 million t were sold to Russian customers, of which 29.2 million t were shipped to Russian electric power plants.
International sales increased by 10% year-on-year and amounted to 38 million t of coal. China, South Korea, Japan, the Netherlands, Taiwan, India, and Germany were the main international markets for SUEK in the reporting period.
