Superior Industries acquires crusher manufacturing facility from FLSmidth

Superior Industries, a US based bulk material processing and handling equipment manufacturing company, has made an agreement with FLSmidth to purchase the assets of its crusher manufacturing plant in Pekin, Illinois, US. This agreement follows Superior’s purchase of Clemro Western Ltd, a company who has manufactured its own line of cone and jaw crushers for more than three decades.

According to Superior, the major asset associated with the transaction is a 10-year-old, 70 000 ft² plant, which currently has 30 employees. Superior plans to utilise the new facility as a US based manufacturing centre for cone crushing equipment.
