With the outbreak of COVID-19 (novel Coronavirus), the company have taken the following precautionary steps to help reduce the risk of spreading this virus:
It is enhancing its cleaning processes at our store locations and has tempo-rarily discontinued providing the following as they are high touch areas:
- Complimentary coffee/tea and popcorn.
- Magazines and reading materials.
- Limiting business travel within the organisation.
- Promoting everyday preventative behaviours with its teams.
Kal Tire has stated that it will continue to maintain high standards for safety and cleanliness and will continue to practice preventative measures to reduce the spread of germs within all its facilities. It will also continue to take precau-tions and be guided by recommendations made by the Public Health Agency of Canada and local health authorities.
At this time, all the company’s stores will continue to remain open for busi-ness. As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve, Kal Tire will continue to provide updates to all customers and team members as required.
