Bettercoal publishes Annual Report 2020

Bettercoal has announced the publication of its Annual Report 2020.
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Bettercoal was able to adapt and drive its work plan forward, including a thorough review of the Bettercoal Code, a detailed mapping of the new Bettercoal Code against the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and keeping strong stakeholder engagement through the Country Working Groups.
At the same, it sustained the monitoring of progress on the Continuous Improvement Plans (CIP) of Bettercoal Suppliers, engaged with its members on the implementation of their obligations, and ensured a sustainable financial position.
