TerraCom provides company update

TerraCom Ltd has announced the appointment of Megan Etcell as Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) following a decision by the board to bring the role back to Australia. Etcell will replace Celeste van Tonder who will now focus on the company’s South African operations in the role of CFO – South Africa.
van Tonder joined TerraCom following the acquisition of Universal Coal plc, which was finalised at the end of June 2020. van Tonder was formally appointed to the role of CFO from 1 September 2020, and the Board thanks her for her contribution to date and looks forward to her continued involvement within the South African operations.
Etcell joined TerraCom in November 2019 as Company Secretary and started in the role of Executive General Manager Corporate Affairs in September 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle and is a qualified chartered accountant. Etcell has held senior roles within the coal mining industry, working for NuCoal Resources in various capacities including CFO and Company Secretary. Prior to joining NuCoal, Etcell worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where she specialised in assurance services.
