Teck provides metallurgical coal update

Teck Resources Ltd has provided unaudited 2Q22 metallurgical coal sales volumes and realised prices.
The company’s realised 2Q22 metallurgical coal sales were 6.3 million t, within our previously announced guidance of 6.3 – 6.7 million t. Record steelmaking coal FOB prices resulted in an increase in the average realised metallurgical coal price in the 2Q22 to US$453/t. Teck expects to record provisional pricing adjustments of negative US$73 million in the quarter due to the decline in coal prices at quarter end.
