The Queensland Resources Council has welcomed the announcement of first coal on the re-opening of the Millennium metallurgical coal mine, a joint venture between Stanmore Resources and M Resources.
The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management has announced nearly US$7 million in funding for seven projects that will develop coal-based filaments or resins for additive manufacturing and advance research and development of coal-derived graphite.
