Expert RA assigns AA- rating to SUEK

SUEK announces that Russian credit rating agency Expert RA has initiated SUEK’s coverage and assigned the company the AA- rating with a stable outlook.
Expert RA noted a leading position of SUEK in the industry, high level of vertical integration, competitive products and diversified distribution channels as well as solid profitability and moderate leverage.
SUEK’s Chief Financial Officer Nikolay Pilipenko comments: “We welcome the decision of Expert RA. The Russian AA- rating acknowledges SUEK’s financial sustainability and corresponds to the Company’s strategy to expand opportunities for debt profile management and diversification.”
SUEK has a Ba2 rating from Moody’s international rating agency and BB rating from Fitch international rating agency.
