Intra Energy achieves record coal sales
Intra Energy Corporation (IEC) has announced a record monthly sales volume of 22 176 tonnes for February 2014.

This is the second consecutive month that Intra Energy has achieved record sales, exceeding the previous record set in January by 14.8% (up from 19 308 t). The achievement is significantly rewarding, due to February being both a short month and during the wet season in Tanzania.
Intra Energy is now supplying coal to 21 customers in the East African region in Tanzania, Kenya, Malawi, Zambia and Uganda.

Company managing director, Graeme Robertson, commented: “We are delighted to have achieved another record sales month in February 2014. The company continues to focus on increasing sales and growing its market share in the region, productivity improvements in the mining operations and focus on supply chain efficiency.”
