SCHADE Lagertechnik’s has named new Technical Managing Director

Klaus Paul's appointment is in response to the impending retirement of Karl-Heinz Fiegenbaum on 30th June. Karl-Heinz Fiegenbaum has been Managing Director of the company since July 2011, responsible for sales and commercial activities. He will be replaced by Dr Christoph Seifert, who moves across to this position after having started with SCHADE as Technical Managing Director in February 2015.

Klaus Paul has 40 years’ international experience as a heavy engineering professional. His career began in 1977 when he joined Friedrich Uhde GmbH in Dortmund/Germany as a draughtsman at the age of 16. After having completed his engineering degree in process technology he remained with the same company, which has been known since 2016 as thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions AG. Klaus Paul worked in various capacities in different locations, spending many years in Iran, India, Spain, Venezuela and China. From 2012, he was with Uhde OOO, a subsidiary of thyssenkrupp AG in Russia, first as Director of Project and Site Management, and later as one of the Managing Directors of Uhde / OOO thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions Russia.
