World Coal,
According to the results of January - August 2018, the cumulative indicators of annual production at the Solntsevsky coal mine updated the historical record of 5 million t of coal.
In total, according to the production programme of the East Mining Company, which manages the Solntsevsky Uolny mine, for the 12 months of 2018, it is planned to produce 8 million t. This is twice as high as the annual figures for 2016 and 2017, 4 million t each, respectively.
A significant increase in key indicators is associated with the implementation of a comprehensive programme to increase the production and shipment of coal. In addition to strengthening the fleet of mining equipment and infrastructure development, VGK is actively working on the efficiency of business processes. Among the key tools for improving productivity is the currently automated dispatching system.
