Cluff Natural Resources appoints new COO
Cluff Natural Resources has hired Andrew Nunn as the group’s new Chief Operating Officer.
The resource company is currently focused on unlocking the energy potential in the UK via the underground coal gasification (UCG) process, which involves targeting stranded coal and converting it into syngas.
Nunn joined the company as a senior project manager in May, while he previously worked as exploration manager at Dart Energy, a UK shale and coalbed methane (CBM) group recently acquired by IGas.
He is a chartered geologist and has experience of exploring CBM, shale gas and tight oil and gas assets across Europe.
“Since joining the company earlier this year Andrew has made an immediate and major impact on the development of the company,” said CEO, Algy Cluff. “This promotion is a reflection of the contribution Andrew has already made to our recent progress and the importance of his ongoing role, in particular as we continue to develop our offshore UCG licences in the UK."
Nunn has options for more than 3 million shares, which would equate to about 1.9% of Cluff Natural Resources.
