Robby Clark, Director of REEDMININGEVENTS believes that despite the challenges of the mining commodities export market, there remains a need for effective core operational equipment in order to meet ongoing export commitments.

A range of the latest operational equipment and bulk handling products will be on display at the largest mining exhibition in Australia this year, Asia-Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition (AIMEX) from 1 – 4 September 2015.

“Costs, equipment performance and efficiencies are central to commodity exporter’s operational investment strategies,” Clark said. “Despite the current market adjustment, the Australian mining industry is still interested in working with suppliers who foster innovative design, custom engineered projects and measurable improvements.”

The joint AIMEX display of Ellton, Ontrak and WEARX, offers solutions to a broad range of mining, material handling and wear management challenges.

Ellton Conveyors is an industry leader in the design and construction of bulk handling and loading systems, supplying products and services throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Ellton will be displaying conveyor products and construction methods that improve safety and efficiency for the operator at AIMEX 2015.

The light-weight, easy to assemble Ellton ERGO structure has proven in applications to be a perfect example of combining innovation and sound design practices to deliver improvements in safety, cost and operational efficiency. Also on display is the Ellton mobile conveyor tail-piece that further demonstrates improvements in operator efficiency and safety.

Joining Ellton at AIMEX is Ontrak Engineering, a specialist in the engineering, supply and service of feeder breakers, crawler track equipment and chain conveyors. The Ontrak OFB30 Feeder Breaker will be on display and it has developed a reputation for design excellence and value that has underpinned its market success.

Ontrak’s stand-alone crawler track transport systems and chain conveyors can be customised to suit a wide range of applications to improve mine efficiency and production.

At the same AIMEX stand is WEARX, a global leader in wear solutions through providing Wear Asset Management and a one stop mine materials handling solution. The product aims to provide improved safety of operational assets, elimination of reoccurring failures, reduction in maintenance frequency, improved availability and lowered operating costs.

An example of wear management design will be on display with a complete WearBack chute engineered for an Australian iron ore mine along with examples of rubber, ceramic and other wear management materials.
