Maptek PerfectDig wins award

At South Australia and the Northern Territory's premier Information and Communications Technology (ICT) awards show the iAwards, Maptek PerfectDig won the SA Industrial and Resources category.
The award was presented on the 11 June at a gala lunch at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
PerfectDig team leader and a Senior Software Engineer, Anthony Gibbs said the team was delighted to win the award. 'It's great to be recognised by your peers in the industry,' he said. 'It's going to inspire us to keep developing the product.'
Gibbs and colleagues Matt Harris and Peter Iannella have been developing the product at the Maptek Adelaide office in Glenside for nearly three years.
'The customers who bought it love it - areas of non-conformance in their mine can be so quickly identified that it saves them money and improves safety.'
Maptek Managing Director Peter Johnson was proud of the team’s work. He said: ‘It shows our commitment to innovation is paying dividends.’
