The Trimble Ready K-Tec Scraper includes an enhanced joystick, a computer software upgrade, wiring harnesses and brackets, allowing a more seamless installation.
The announcement was made at ConExpo 2017.
"K-Tec Earthmovers is pleased to announce that Trimble Ready scrapers are now available for our customers to efficiently perform precision excavation and finish grading," said Russ Goossen, CEO for K-Tec Earthmovers Inc. "This new option makes the installation of Trimble GCS900 more integrated and less costly for contractors."
"The introduction of a Trimble Ready option for a K-Tec scraper further reinforces our commitment to serve equipment manufacturers and their customers with innovative construction technology," commented Cloyce Newton, business area manager for Trimble OEM Solutions, Civil Engineering and Construction Division. "Now it's less expensive and faster to install Trimble technology, so K-Tec customers can realize an even quicker return on their technology investment."
