Techinomics signs China distribution deal

Pittsburgh-based Techinomics and Forest Power and Energy of Houston, Texas, have signed an agreement designating Forest as the exclusive licensee for Techinomics’ equipment in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The agreement also identifies Beijing LAD Electric Power Technology as the operating arm for the China market, responsible for manufacturing, assembling, selling and supervising the installation of all Techinomics rotating pulveriser throat products in the country.

“Techinomics coal mill technology has undergone extensive testing in the North American market and those testing results have demonstrated unmatched operational and environmental benefits,” said Christopher Martin, president of Techinomics. “Beijing LAD Company has a well-earned and established reputation for excellence in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong and we are confident they and Forest Holdings are the ideal partner to introduce the Techinomics coal pulveriser throats to China.”
