BHEL commission 250 MW unit at coal-fired power plant

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has commissioned a 250 MW unit at a coal-fired power plant in Assam, Northeast India. Once completed, this power plant will be the highest rating coal-fired power plant in northeast India.
BHEL will set up three coal-fired units of 250 MW each at NTPC’s thermal power plant in Bongaigaon.
The sets of BHEL’s rating class have been performing higher than the national average and international level. BHEL has contracted 251 sets of this rating class.
