American Electric Power is seeking bids for the supply of coal to one or more of its power generating stations.
The company is seeking spot delivery proposals for up to 225 000 t of coal, FOB barge, beginning in July 2018 and ending in September 2018. AEP is open to alternative pricing structures or other innovative, value-added concepts. Proposals with alternative terms will be accepted. Accepted bids will be at AEP's discretion.
Proposal packages must be received by AEP no later than 5 p.m., Friday, 22 June 2018. Proposals can be submitted by e-mail to aepfuelsrfp@aep.com, or by mail to AEPSC RFP – Coal Proposal, ATTN: Amy Jeffries, Manager, Coal Procurement, American Electric Power Service Corp., 1 Riverside Plaza, 14th Floor, Columbus, OH 43215.
