Queensland students have had the opportunity to get hands-on experience of the high-level science, technology engineering and maths (STEM) skills that will be needed for the jobs of the future.

Stabilisation on the coking coal and coke market allows Jastrzebska Spólka Weglowa (JSW) to continue strategic investment projects. These include modernisation of coal preparation plants and construction of new mining levels.

Morien has been granted approval by the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education for a revised ground control procedure, which allows for the continuation of mining and development operations at its Donkin mine.

The QRC is calling for the full support of the Queensland Parliament to support a strong future for all mining and resources projects.
