Three die at Czech coal mine

Czech coal miner, New World Resources, has announced three fatalities at OKD 1 underground coal mine in Ostrava, the Czech Republic.
According to the company, the miners died 1000 m underground but gave no further details.
Headquartered in the Netherlands, New World Resources is a leading coal producer in Central Europe, mining both metallurgical and thermal coal through its subsidiary OKD, the largest hard coal company in the Czech Republic.
