Weir adds new service centre in Kazakhstan

Weir Minerals Europe is to add a new service centre in Kazakhstan, bringing the total of new centres opened in Europe in 2014 to three after facilities in Morocco and Italy were established earlier this year.

According to a company statement, the new facilities will build on its network of manufacturing, sales and service bases in key territories across Europe. The centres will also complement existing mobile and onsite support functions delivered by a team of technical specialists.

Commenting on the news, Tony G. Locke, managing director of Weir Minerals Europe, said: “Our customers are under constant pressure to extend the lifecycle of the products they use in their mines and they rightly expect the Weir Minerals range to be best in class. Our service centres therefore play a vital role in providing ongoing support through the full mill circuit.”
