WellDog wins tender from Arrow Energy
WellDog has won a tender to provide hundreds of downhole pressure gauge systems to Arrow Energy Pty Ltd over the next two years, with work commencing immediately. WellDog revenue expected under the contract is estimated at between AU$ 5 million and AU$ 10 million depending on exact volumes and services required.
Arrow energy currently produce coal seam gas from fields in the Surat Basin in south east Queensland and the Bowen Basin in central Queensland. With about 500 gas wells across these fields.
“We’re pleased to be selected by Arrow for this important contract,” said John M. Pope, Ph.D., president and CEO of WellDog. “We are focused on exceeding Arrow’s expectations.”
The contracted work includes provision of systems as well as services related to installation of the systems. Several bids were received by Arrow for the competitive tender.
The downhole gauge systems will enable Arrow to carefully measure and manage bottom hole pressures in their wells, optimising their time to gas and minimising unnecessary water production.
